Thomas E. Jacques, 70, of Royal Oak died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007 at home. He was born April 16, 1937 in Detroit to Richard, Jr. and Dorothy (Cooper) Jacques. Mr. Jacques lived in Royal Oak for 40 years and graduated from Wilbur Wright High School. He was a draftsman for Chrysler Corp. for 41 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #4188 Council in Clawson, and UAW Local #412. He was an avid sports fan and participant, pinochle player at local community centers, and he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He was also a member of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. He is survived by his wife, Judith (nee" Biernat) Jacques, whom he wed at Guardian Angels Church, in Clawson, in 1967; daughters, Desiree Rinkel (Craig) of Pleasant Ridge, Angela Tiura (James) of Royal Oak; sons, Robert (Lisa) of Royal Oak, Derek (Michele) of Lake Orion; grandchildren, Steven and Marisa Jacques, Griffin and Andrew Jacques, Chloe and Dana Rinkel.
