Betty Marie Meyer, 87, of Royal Oak died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007 at Boulevard Hills Nursing Home, Rochester Hills. She was born Jan. 11, 1920 in Lima, Ohio to John and Agnes Ellis. Mrs. Meyer graduated from Royal Oak High School in 1938, was a homemaker and former member of the First United Methodist Church, Royal Oak. Surviving are her children, Arthur (Dianna) Meyer of Clawson, Gerald Meyer of Leonard, Dean Meyer of Madison Heights and Henry (Teresa) Meyer of Leonard; siblings, Ralph (Nancy) Ellis of Lima, OH, John (Jean) Ell's of Ft. Meyers, FL, David (Rosie) Ellis of Tucson, AZ and Agnes Evans of Elida, OH; grandchildren, Michelle (Ray) Belf, Laurie (Scott) Muschong and Julie Meyer; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Liam and Evan. Her husband, Henry, whom she married in 1941 in Royal Oak died in 1998. Visitation Friday 3-9 p.m. Service Saturday 11 a.m. at the Kinsey-Garrett Funeral Home, 420 S. Lafayette, Royal Oak with the Rev. Marshall Dunlap of the First United Methodist Church, Royal Oak officiating. Burial, Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak.
