Joseph D. Hill Sr., 87, of Clawson, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, in William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. He was born Feb. 26, 1920, in Columbia, Tenn. Mr. Hill retired after eight years of owning and operating, along with his wife, The Kitchen Kupboard Restaurant in Royal Oak. He loved gardening. He married Margaret on Aug. 3, 1940, in Columbia, Tenn. He is survived by his son, Joseph (Judy) Hill Jr. of Royal Oak; sister, Marie Balcoum of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; grandchildren, Scott and Jason; and-greatgrandchildren, Ben, Katie and Adam. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret, in February 1991. Funeral services will be held at Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home in Columbia, Tenn. For additional information, call Wm.
