Thomas J. Emery, 60, of Clawson, formerly of Troy, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. He was born March 8, 1947, in Highland Park. Thomas was one of the first twins born in the City of Troy. He was head custodian for Troy Public Schools for 19 years and was vice president of the union. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Helen Emery; and brother, Paul Emery, Jr. He is survived by his twin brother, Charles Emery; and lifelong friend, John Dombrowski. Visitation, 2-9 p.m. Friday at Gramer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., Clawson; funeral service, 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home; burial, White Chapel Memorial Cemetery.
