Lewis Wright, 93, of Ferndale, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, in William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. He was born Feb. 23, 1914, in Detroit. Mr. Wright owned and operated McDonald Second Operation Inc. for 60 years. He married Ann in January 1982 in Illinois. He was a past master, past high priest and past patron of Eastern Star, where he had been a member for 50 years. Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Ann; sons, Lewis (Mary) Wright Jr. of Fenton and Richard (Sally) Wright of Ferndale; brother, George Wright of Warsaw, Ind.; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Violet in 1975. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wessels & Wilk Funeral Home, 23690 Woodward Ave., Pleasant Ridge. Burial will be in Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley. Visitation is 3-9 p.m. today, with a 7:30 p.m. Masonic service. Memorial contributions may be addressed to Shrine Children's Hospital.
