Virginia L. Thompson, 84, of Royal Oak died Monday, Nov. 26, 2007 at home. She was born Oct. 1,1923 in Pontiac to Milton and Loretta Petersen. Mrs. Thompson was happily married to her husband for 65 years and attended Starr Presbyterian Church, Royal Oak. Surviving are her husband, Lyle, whom she married Sept. 4,1942 in Royal Oak; daughter, Delores Ann (Will) Whetstone of Barryton; granddaughters, Melissa M. Pawloski and Jessica Lane Pidek; greatgrandchildren, Jordan, Sybil, Kennedy and Shawn. Visitation, 24 p.m. and 68 p.m. today at KinseyGarrett Funeral Home, 420 S.
