Mrs. Margaret E. Vier, 86, of Madison Heights died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007 at St. John Oakland Hospital, Madison Heights. She was born Feb. 23, 1921 in Detroit. Mrs. Margaret Vier was born and raised in Detroit. She lived in Madison Heights for the past 10 years and formerly for 17 years in Hazel Park. Margaret's greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling and keeping in touch with her many pen pals. She was predeceased by a son, Paul Vier. She is survived by children, Barbara Miller of Ferndale, Roberta (Larry) Alman of Greenville, Leonard Vier of Livonia, Betty Adolph of Auburn Hills, Joanne Dula of Ypsilanti, Patricia Vier of Livonia; grandchildren, Theresa, Annie, Melody, Kenny, Suzanne, Nicky, Katrina, Chris and Chris. Visitation, 39 p.m. Friday, at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre, Madison Heights; services, 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home; burial, Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley; memorials, Stroke Club, Warren.
