Donald W. Baker,77, of Rochester Hills, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007, at his home. He was born Dec. 30, 1929, in Birmingham, England, to George and Hilda Baker. Mr. Baker served in.the British Army and retired from General Motors where he was a model maker. He was a member of Post 84, Royal Canadian Legion, Royal Oak, the Commonwealth Club and he was an avid golfer. Surviving are his wife, Lynn, whom he married in 1957 in Toronto; children, Karen (Andrew) Hanssen of Bozeman, MT, Janet (Brian) Gravelle of Rochester Hills and Kenneth Baker of Rochester Hills; sister, Eunice (John) Mustin of Sherman Oaks, CA and grandchildren, Gabriel, Emily, Jacob, Maggie, Lily and Molly. Visitation Tuesday 29 p.m. with Canadian Legion Memorial Service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Wednesday 11 a.m. at the KinseyGarrett Funeral Home, 420 S. Lafayette, Royal Oak with the Rev. Elizabeth L. Downs of the First United Presbyterian Church, Warren, officiating. Memorials suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Kidney Foundation.
