Raymond L. Silk, 78, of Southfield for 47 years, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. He was born April 18, 1929; in Johnstown, Penn. Mr. Silk was a veteran of the Korean War in the U.S. Army. Surviving are his wife, Lois P. (Ling), whom he wed Oct. 29, 1955 in Johnstown; children, Brian (Cindy) Silk of Sterling Heights, Tracy Silk of Southfield and Sheila Silk of Southfield; four brothers and two sisters; and three grandchildren. Visitation, 3-9 p.m. today at Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home, 2125 W. 12 Mile, Berkley; funeral services and burial at Roseland Park Cemetery Berkley, are private; memorials, American Lung Association.
