Joe Schriver, 96, of Royal Oak died peacefully Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, in Warren. He was born in Albuquerque, N.M. Mr. Schriver retired from Detroit Tank Arsenal. He was a longtime resident of Royal Oak. He loved oil painting and photography. He was a veteran volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Mr. Schriver was predeceased by his wife, Verna Floride on Oct. 22, 1978. They were married Dec. 24, 1935, in Oklahoma City Okla. Surviving are his children, Donna (William) Ronsaville of Washington D.C. and Thomas (Tracy) Schriver of Warren; grandchildren, Rebecca and Joshua; and brothers and sisters, Paul, Evert, Art, Ray, Bob, Nadine and Daisy. Funeral, 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Royal Oak, 309 N. Main St., Royal Oak, with the Rev.
