Leland Strauss Jenners, 73, a longtime resident of Berkley, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. He was born April 7,1934, to Lyman and Czarina Jenners. Mr. Jenners graduated from Rochester High School in 1953 and carpenters' school in 1955. He was a carpenter and construction foreman for many years, a member of the Carpenters Union Local 998, Union Aerie 2092 EO.E., Rochester Moose Lodge and coowner of Metro Truss Co. He was a covenant member of Woodlawn Church, Royal Oak, for more than 50 years and a member of the Evangelical Alliance Ministers Association. Mr. Jenners was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Warren Mosher. He is survived by his wife, the Rev. Joyce Jenners, whom he married Sept. 11, 1954, in Royal Oak; daughter. Janet (Kevin) Butler of Rochester Hills; brothers. Wayne (Anita) Mosher of Tennessee, and Woodrow (Marcella) Mosher of Ohio; sister, Elaine Van Boemel of Clinton Township; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the KinseyGarrett Funeral Home, 420 S. Lafayette, Royal Oak; services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Woodlawn Church, 3620 Rochester Road., Royal Oak, with the Rev. Dr. R. Michael O'Mire and the Rev.
