Ruthe F. Meeker, 87, a 6year resident of Plymouth, formerly of Huntington Woods, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007, at Sunrise at Northville Assisted Living, Plymouth. She was born in Detroit. Mrs. Meeker was a volunteer at Providence Hospital in Southfield for 25 years. She enjoyed outdoor adventures and activities. She was predeceased by her husband, Ward L. Meeker, in 1999. The couple wed July 8, 1946, in Detroit. She is survived by her children, William (Cheryl Orgas) Meeker of Shorewood, Wis., Thomas (Jonni) Meeker of Cibola, Texas, and Margaret (Jeff Fletcher) Meeker of Northville; four grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Visitation, 2 to 8 p.m. Monday with a 6:30 p.m. Rosary at SawyerFuller Funeral Home, 2125 W 12 Mile Road, Berkley; in state, 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Mass is celebrated on Tuesday at Our Lady of LaSalette Church, 2600 Harvard, Berkley, with the Rev.
