Anne D. Huxtable, 89, a 50year resident of Madison Heights, died Tuesday, Oct.16, 2007, at Evergreen Health and Living Center, Southfield. She was born Oct. 15, 1918, in Detroit. Mrs. Huxtable was a longtime member of Woodside Bible Church, Troy, where she was known as the lady with the hat. She was a generous woman who loved her family and loved sharing her faith. She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Robert) Stouffer of Madison Heights; and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband, E. Bryce Huxtable, whom she married May 17, 1944, in Hollywood, Calif., who died in 1997; son, Ronald L. Huxtable, in 1970; and her parents, Wallace and Anna Perkins. Visitation is planned Thursday, 28 p.m., at the KinseyGarrett Funeral Home, 420 S. Lafayette, Royal Oak. Funeral, 11 a.m. Friday at Woodside Bible Church, 6600 Rochester Road, Troy, with Pastor Vince Messina officiating. Burial, Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak.
