Michael Lynn Kource, 48, of Harrison, Mich., died Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, at Tendercare, Mount Pleasant, Mich. Michael was born on April 20, 1959, in Royal Oak, Mich., the son of Raymond and Mary (Davis) Kource. He resided for most of his life in the Clawson area and graduated from Clawson High School with the Class of 1977. Michael was in the U.S. Marines Corp for six years, and served in Okinawa, Japan, and Cherry Point, N.C. He attended Oakland Community College and graduated with an associate's degree. He is survived by his mother, Mary Kource of Harrison; father, Raymond (Nancy) Kource; two sisters, Pamela Anne Kource of Fayetteville, N.C., and Patricia Aileen and Bill Kierst of Harrison; one nephew, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, and several uncles. Memorial services were held at St. Louis First Church of God in St. Louis, Mich., on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007. The Rev. Sam Dunbar officiated. Memorials may be made to Diabetes of Michigan or the Kidney Foundation of Michigan. Arrangements were handled by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
