James B. Wise, 73, of Madison Heights, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. He was born Nov. 24, 1933, in Grand Rapids. Mr. Wise was a 49year resident of Madison Heights. He graduated from Cass Technical High School in Detroit and attended Ohio State University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army who served during the Korean War. He retired from Chrysler Corp. Sterling Stamping plant after 27 years service and was a charter member of the Madison Heights Jaycees. He was predeceased by his wife, Sondra, in 2006. Surviving are children, Ms. Valinda Brecht of Madison Heights, James (Denice) Wise of Ortonville, Vanessa (Dominic) Raona of Dearborn; brother, William P (Gloria) Wise, Jr., of Birmingham; grandchildren, Melanie, Donald (Kristen), Jessica, Sean, Dominic and Anthony. Visitation, 39 p.m. Wednesday at Edward Swanson Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre, Madison Heights; services, noon Thursday at the funeral home with Mr. Clifford Tucker officiating; burial, private on Friday at Great Lakes National Cemetery Holly.
