Alma M. Collins Mayle, 90, of Warren, formerly a 33year resident of Clawson, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She was born May 25, 1917, in Grafton, W. Va., to the late Fred and Clara. Mrs. Mayle enjoyed reading, crocheting and crossword puzzles, but most of all she loved being around family and friends, especially her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She worked as a nurse's aide at Millers Nursing Home, Louisville, Ohio; and Cambridge East Nursing Home, Southfield. Mrs. Mayle was predeceased in 1951 by her first husband, Robert, whom she wed in 1936; and in 2000 by her second husband, Forney Mayle, whom she wed in 1967. Also deceased are: son, Ernest "Bud" Collins; granddaughter, April Mayle; and siblings, Earl, Carl, Herbert, Edward, Ervin DeCost, Velva Mayle and Madeline Smith. Surviving are her children, Charlotte (Allen) Mayle, Joey (Sarah) Collins, Freddie Collins, Sherry (Jeff) Gordon, Gaye (Dale) Bennett and Delmas (Kris) Mayle; exdaughterinlaw, Linda Collins; sister, Lorena (Donnie) Croston; 19 grandchildren and 25 greatgrandchildren..
