George L. Salzman Sr., 80, of Troy for over 40 years, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. He was born Dec. 17, 1926, in Niagra Falls, N.Y., to Clarence and Mildred Salzman. Mr. Salzman retired from the configuration management department of General Dynamics. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Center Line Lodge 550 F&AM, the Moslem Shrine and St. Andrew Episcopal Church, Clawson. He loved baseball and coaching youth baseball teams. Surviving are his children, George L. (Lori) Salzman Jr. and Shari A. (Rick) Baldwin, both of Shelby Twp.; grandchildren, Kristen M. Salzman, Jacob and Matthew Baldwin and Lyndsey and Brittany Rodgers; and great-grandson, Kyle.
