Mary Guiding, 97, of Madison Heights died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, at Cambridge North Nursing Home, Clawson. She was born May 16, 1910, in Detroit. Mrs. Guiding lived in Madison Heights for 25 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, on Dec. 4, 1973, and three sisters. Surviving are her children, John (Jean) Guiding of Charlottesville, Va., Anna (Arthur) Antosiek of Madison Heights and Tony Guiding of Macomb; grandchildren, Larry Antosiek, David Antosiek, Ellen Antosiek, Donna Halley, Michael Antosiek, John M. Guiding, Kay Christopher and Stephen Guiding; and 22 great-grandchildren. Visitation, 2:30-9 p.m. today at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre, Madison Heights; Rosary, 7 p.m. today at the funeral home; additional visitation, 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until 10 a.m. Mass at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, Madison Heights, with the Rev. John Esper of St. Vincent officiating; burial, Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
