Barry Allen Nettle, 63, of Canton, and formerly of Royal Oak, died on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, with his companion Pam at his side. He was a 1962 graduate of Kimball High School in Royal Oak, and served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a former golf pro at Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Birmingham and taught many people to play and love the game of golf. He also loved fishing. He retired from Value City Furniture. In addition to his companion, surviving is his brother, Brent of San Francisco; and many other friends. Services were privately held.
