Dorothy Jane Wolfe, 82, of Royal Oak, and formerly of Sterling Heights, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She was born Dec. 31, 1924, in Detroit to Elbridge and Dorothy Parker. Mrs. Wolfe was a homemaker. She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Michael) Galle of Royal Oak; step-children, Lynda Hassan of Royal Oak and Robert (Carol) Wolfe of West Bloomfield; granddaughter, Allyson Galle; step-grandchildren, Bonnie Swope and Greg Lees; and step-great-grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Cody and Layla. Her husband, James, died May 10, 2006. Visitation is Saturday from 911:30 a.m. at the Kinsey-Garrett Funeral Home, 420 S. Lafayette, Royal Oak. Service is at noon Saturday at Roseland Park Cemetery Berkley, with the Rev. Peter S. Nickel of Huntington Woods Lutheran Church officiating.
