Carmen Lavern Torian, 63, of La Vergne, Tenn. died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007. Preceded in death by mother, Elizabeth Trusell and husband, James W Torian. Survived by her children, Kelly Torian Wilson, Robert Torian, and Karen Torian Staten; six grandchildren; and brother, Dr. James Trusell. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Aug. 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road, Nashville, Tenn., by Phil Sanders. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Kids Center in Nashville, or Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes, Montgomery AL. Visitation was Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel 615-331-1952.
