Donald Mikel, 79, a 39-year resident of Clawson, died on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, at home. He was born June 25, 1928, in Detroit. Mr. Mikel retired in 1988 after 29 years as a hydraulics mobil lab supervisor at Sperry Vickers in Troy. Surviving are children, Barbara Kastle, Kenneth (Pat), James (Rebecca), Dawne (Melvin) Baracy; granddaugh- ters, Jennifer (Chris) Reeves, Jessica Gawron; brother, Albert William (Violet); and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by wife Bernice Reinsborg, whom he married on June 21, 1947, in Detroit. She died on Jan. 12, 1990, 43 years after they were married, this year would have been 60 years. He was also predeceased by parents Albert and Mary; sisters, Ina Martin and Wilma Christensen; and a brother, Robert. Funeral service, 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gramer Funeral Home, 705 N.
