Amanda Christine Miller, 17, of Royal Oak, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at home surrounded by family. She was born Feb. 16, 1990, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. Mandy so loved all animals. She raised a goat named Fernando and had a true companion in her dog, Riley. She was an accomplished and enthusiastic horseback rider and an active member of the Bowers Farm 4-H Club. Her deepest passion was her horse, Mack, who provided her strength, passion and fed her spirit while she battled her disease for the past three-and-a-half years. She was so deeply loved. Her spirit, tolerance and courage were admired by those who knew her well. Surviving are her parents, George "Jerry" and Cynthia Miller; siblings, Jenny (Scott) Wisniewski, Michelle (Jake) Hurley and Darcie Miller; and nephew, Mason. Visitation, 2-8 p.m. today at Wm.
