William June Crafty, 91, of Dickson, Tenn., died Sunday, July 13, 2007, at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Tenn. He was born Feb. 12, 1916, in Paducah, Texas. Mr. Crafty served in the U.S. Army in the 1940s. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Ilma (Hudson) Crafty. He is survived by his wife, Jessie Eugena (Wills) Cratty; sons, Steven Crafty of Dickson, Tenn., and Robert Crafty of Sterling Heights, Mich.; daughters, Patricia Crafty Amireskandari of Northville, Mich., and Brenda Bando of Madison Heights, Mich.; brother, Robert Crafty of Charlotte, Tenn.; sister, Lucille Osburn of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Jill. Chiesa, Ari Amireskandari and Annahita Amireskandari; and great-grandchild, Alyssa Chiesa. Visitation was Tuesday, July 17, at Dickson Funeral Home, Dickson, Tenn.; services, 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, at the funeral home with Brother Robert Truitt officiating; burial, Middle Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery.
