Dr. Mark Victor Bower, 53, of Huntsville, Ma., died Monday, April, 16, 2007. He was born Nov. 26, 1953, in Detroit. Dr. Bower graduated with a Ph.D from the University of Michigan. He moved to Huntsville in 1984 to teach at UAH. He taught mechanical and aerospace engineering and was serving as chair of the department. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and dedicated leader and member of Christ Church. Dr. Bower was predeceased by his father, M. Victor Bower. Surviving are his wife, Peggy; children, Renae, Amber, Elizabeth and Matthew; and mother, Marjorie. Funeral services were held in April.
