Arthur C. Lawrie age 90 of Lapeer Mich. formerly of Oak Park Mich. passed away on April 3 2011 in Lapeer Mich. Arthur was born on August 2 1920 in Edmonton Alberta Canada. He was a WWII Veteran who served in the European and African Theaters. Arthur is survived by his daughter Sharon Hess of Clawson; grandfather of one; great-grandfather of six; great-great-grandfather of six; brother of Wayne (Norma) Lawrie. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Johanna (2002); and grandson Bryan Hess. Visitation Wednesday 3-9 p.m. at Hopcroft Funeral Home 23919 John R Road Hazel Park Mich.
