Mary Ann "Ann" Kent age 91 died February 9 2011 at Arden Courts Assisted Living in Sterling Heights. She was born May 4 1919 in Murray Ky. Mrs. Kent was a graduate of Highland Park High School. She was a longtime member of the John R Baptist Church in Detroit and recently of Faith Baptist Church in Royal Oak. She was formerly a Sunday School teacher and sang in the choir at both churches. Beloved wife of the late Richard M. Kent (2003). Loving mother of Shyrl K. (the late Robert) Straith of Warren Richard L. (Norma) Kent of Naples Fla. and Ronald W. (Linda) Kent of Munising. Proud grandmother of seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The visitation will be Tuesday 2-8 p.m. and service Wednesday 11 a.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 705 W Eleven Mile Road (4 blocks E of Woodward) Royal Oak. The burial will take place at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi.
