Robert A. Hoffman age 90 a resident of Oak Park died Thursday February 3 2011 at home. He was born June 17 1920 in Detroit to Robert and Lillie. Mr. Hoffman served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Survived by his wife Blanche (Paynter); children Nancy Scheuer Shelley Hoffman and Patricia (Bill) Elam; daughter-in-law Lonnie; and grandchildren Heather and Ryan Scheuer Derek Mann and Lauren and Drew Elam. Predeceased by son Robert; son-in-law Mark Scheuer; and granddaughter Gretchen Adams. Memorial service Saturday 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church 2820 W. 12 Mile Road Berkley.
