Stanley P. Kaczmarczyk age 88 of Oak Park since 1952 passed away November 7 2010 at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. He was born May 2 1922 in Palms to Martin and Victoria Kaczmarczyk. Mr. Kaczmarczyk served our country proudly during World War II in the Army Air Corp. He later worked for GM as a supervisor from 1946 until 1984 and was a member of the Berkley VFW. He was preceded in death by his wife Anna Marie (1997). Surviving him are sons Alan M. (fiancée Anastasia Ellwood) Kaczmarczyk of Linden and Gary C. (Cheryl) Kaczmarczyk of Berkley; and sisters Agnes Lange and Helen Franz. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-9 p.m. at the Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home 2125 12 Mile Road (2 blocks W. of Woodward) Berkley. Mr. Kaczmarczyk will lie in state Friday from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of La Salette Catholic Church 2600 Harvard Berkley.
