TIPPIN, Loma Viola (Darling); age 93; passed away peacefully in her home, with her family by her side on November 8, 2014. She was born and raised in Breckenridge, MI and has been a longtime resident of Oakland County, MI. Loma is survived by two children, Dale and Corinne Tippin; three grandchildren, Ronald, Larry, and James; and five great grandchildren, Zachary, Jordan, Lauren, Lindsey, and Lilly. Preceded in death by her husband, William Jeremiah; and sons, Larry and Bruce. Loma worked as a beauty operator, a seamstress, a quilting teacher, and was employed as a headliner sewer for Fisher Body. Her passion was homemaking; she won the 1981 Homemaker of the Year award at the MI State Fair. She was active in sewing, book and travel clubs.
