Sandstrom-McCarrick-Wojtacha, Marilyn; 88; of Harrison, TN; passed away Monday, November 10, 2014; after a brief illness. She grew up in Pontiac, Michigan and raised her daughters in Oak Park, Michigan. She served many years as an Executive Secretary to Corporations and Schools in Michigan and Tennessee. Her beautiful voice was appreciated in the many Choral groups she participated with throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joel and Harriet Sandstrom; sister, JoAnn James; grandson, Christopher Hallmark; son-in-law, Johnny Wolfe; and former husband, Leonard Wojtacha. Survivors include her daughters, Diane (Doug) Evans of Dayton, Ohio, Kathy (Mike) Oric, Barbara Lombardo, both of Chattanooga and Kim McJunkin of Lincoln Park, Michigan; 10 grandchildren; 15 great -grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews; and a host of adoring friends. Memorial Services will be held privately at a later date.
