Kittell, Jr., Philip Michael, age 44, passed away of natural causes on December 15, 2014He was born December 5, 1970 in Mount Clemens, the son of Philip Michael and Eleanor Kathleen (Young) Kittell. He graduated from Lutheran High North in 1989 and then attended Ferris State University, where he earned a Bachelors of Science. Phil was the Branch Manager of South Park Welding in Romeo. He enjoyed restoring vintage pinball machines and 1980’s video arcade games (as well as playing them), and heavy metal music (plus a little Frank Sinatra and traditional jazz). He was always willing to lend a hand to a friend, neighbor or family member in need. He possessed a quiet, gentle personality and always had a kind word for everyone. Those who knew him well enjoyed hearing his hearty laughter and watching the corners of his eyes crinkle as he savored a funny joke or anecdote. He is survived by his best friend since junior year of high school and wife, Michelle L. Bracali of Rochester; stepdaughter ,Bianca and his mother, Eleanor ‘Kathy’ Kittell of Lake Orion. Also surviving are many beloved cousins, aunts, uncles and godparents Bob and Barb Young of Yale. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his father, Philip. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on December 19, 2014 at the Roth-Muir Funeral Home, 296 South Main, Romeo. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 11 a.m. and lying instate at 10 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 47120 Romeo Plank Road, Macomb, Michigan. A celebration of Phil’s life with food and refreshments will be immediately following the funeral at Thee Office Pub & Cookery, 128 South Main, Romeo.
