Jacques, Amy S., age 99, a long-time resident of Royal Oak, died December 15, 2014. She was born May 29, 1915 in Greenfield Park, Canada to Percy and Edith Selkirk. Mrs. Jacques retired from Sears Roebuck Co. and was a volunteer at Beaumont Hospital for 37 years. She was a charter member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Ferndale and a member of Royal Oak Chapter 392 O.E.S. and the Daughters of the Nile.Surviving are her children, Richard (Candy) of Bellaire and Paul of Stevensville; grandchildren, Rachel (Tim), Candace, Jessie (Jeff), Kelley, Carrie (Dean); and great- grandchildren, Kathleen, Robert, William, Samantha, Melody, Elizabeth, Katherine, Abigail, Chelsea and Morgan. Visitation Friday 2-8 p.m., with memorial service at 7 p.m. by Royal Oak Chapter 392 O.E.S. at the Kinsey-Garrett Funeral Home, 420 S. Lafayette, Royal Oak. Funeral on Saturday 10 a.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 540 W. Lewiston, Ferndale. Burial, Oakview Cemetery.
