Stramsak, Bob James, age 76, of Columbiaville, Mich., formerly of Warren, died on Friday, December 19, 2014. He was born on September 24, 1938 in Detroit to parents, Steven and Ann (Sheptak) Stramsak. Bob was drafted into the United States Army and returned to marry Cece Javorski on August 22, 1970 in Detroit. Mr. Stramsak was a pressman for the Detroit News for nearly 25 years. In his free time, Bob enjoyed golfing, bowling and boating. In fact, he was real involved with the Barnes Lake Club, and even wrote the newsletter. His biggest joy though, was his family and ‘grand-pets.’ Mr. Stramsak is survived by his wife of 44 years, Cece Stramsak; children, Dr. Shelley (David) Wallace of Dryden, Mich., Steve (Colleen) Stramsak of Berkley, Mich., as well as his sister, Barbara (Jack) Prentice of New Port Beach, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Monday 4-8 p.m. at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. Bob’s funeral will be Tuesday, December 23, 2014, 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
