Sizer, James ‘Jim’ Burnet, III, age 89, of Harrison Township, died on Thursday, December 25, 2014. Born September 19, 1925 to the late James, II and Edna (Walker) Sizer. Jim served in the United States Navy from 1947 to 1954, serving on the U.S.S. Minah. His entire career was spent in several high profile jobs including work with the legendary aerospace designer Howard Hughes, NASA, Chrysler, and General Dynamics until his retirement in 2010 at the age of 85. He was an active member at First Presbyterian Church in Mount Clemens, serving as an usher and elder, and active with the Men’s Club, Presbyteers, and the McRest program. Survived by his wife, Mary Anne Costin-Sizer; nephew, Seth Sizer in Tenn.; and his countless friends and colleagues. Predeceased by his brother, Seth Sizer. Local arrangements entrusted to Harold W. Vick Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held next week in Forest Hills Cemetery, Chattanooga, Tenn.
