PEPPER, MARTHA J.; of Clarkston; December 31, 2014; age 93; born September 9, 1921 in Jacksonville, IL. Daughter of the late Newton and W. Joy Maddox; wife of the late Andrew J. Pepper. Mother of Thomas A. Pepper (Anita), Joy Dronsella (Daryl), Janet Mutz (Charles) and the late Diane Petroni (Mark).Grandmother of eight; great grandmother of nine. Martha met Andy at GMI in Flint, Michigan where she worked as a secretary. Soon after, Andy joined the Navy and went off to serve in W. W. II. She waited for his return and they married as soon as he came home! Martha truly loved the Lord and her family. She was very sweet, kind and loving and had a wonderful sense of humor! We all loved her so much and will miss her until we see her again in Heaven. Mrs. Pepper was a life time member of Bethany Baptist Church where a Celebration of her Life will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015, 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. James E. Bolin, Jr. officiating. Interment Davisburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, Waterford, Wednesday 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Martha and Andrew Pepper to Bethany Baptist Church.
