Lindsay, Harold W. “Hal”; of Rochester Hills; born in Detroit, MI, July 5,1925; age 89; died Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Beloved husband of Rosemary, married 64 years; father of six, Susan, Brad, Leanne, Caryl, Scott, and Dave Lindsay; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren. Decorated W.W.II Hero, Battle of the Bulge, awarded Purple Heart, Bronze Star, etc. 82nd Airborne Division. Retired from the Department of Defense- Detroit Arsenal, 30 years. After retirement, became Captain of the Rochester Hills Fire Department for 10 years. Hal had a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed. Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 30, 2015 at 12 Noon at the Potere-Modetz Funeral Home, 339 Walnut Blvd., Rochester. The family will receive friends, Friday, at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of Service.
