Join us for two adult summer reading programs:
Writer Cindy La Ferle will offer a three-part workshop “Write the Stories of Your Life” on Wednesdays: June 13, 20 and 27, 7:00 - 8:30 PM in the Friends Auditorium. La Ferle believes that putting your life stories on paper is good for your soul. Whether you want to self-publish a memoir to share with your family or post essays on your blog, she can help you get started. The workshop will focus on the fundamentals of personal writing and offer writing time in class.“Memoir is one of the most popular genres among readers today, and everyone wants to write one,” said La Ferle, a Royal Oak resident and nationally published author. “Writing about your life may sound simple enough, but it’s overwhelming if you don’t know how to begin.”
Psychic Darlene Denning will offer a lecture on dream analysis on Wednesday, July 11, 7:00 - 8:30 PM in the Friends Auditorium. Denning will share her insights on dream interpretation with you and accept specific dreams that audience members want analyzed.
