The Royal Oak Public Library is offering a new internet class to help job seekers in these tough economic times. Learn different ways to post your resume on the web as well as producing a hard copy using a template. Explore job websites such as monster.com and MichiganWorks.org while avoiding the pitfalls and scams so prevalent on the web. For those considering a career change we’ll also look at good reliable sources of information on the web plus cover related sites for relocation, salary surveys, job searching tips and much more. The Internet has radically changed the way you look for a job and whether you’re new to the job market or are trying to better your station in life we can give you the online tools you need. This is a one-time two hour class at the Royal Oak Public Library which will be repeated depending on public demand. Because this is a hands-on class, each student will be using a computer and space is limited. Registration is required and priority will be given to Royal Oak residents. To register, use the form below or call 248-246-3727.
