Having a website and a blog is essential for the any writer. It stands as a platform to promote your skills, find work, and keep readers in the loop. In this workshop, you’ll learn the importance of blogging, the basics of getting started, and tips to keep it going. An online home is crucial for creative success.
- Lisa Howard is a cookbook author, culinary speaker, and cooking instructor. Her blog includes photography, original recipes, and essays, all of which have served to define her brand and ultimately lead to agency representation and a book deal.
- Cindy LaFerle is a widely published freelance writer and author. She maintains two very different blogs, one to promote her writing career and the other to showcase her mixed-media art.
- Michael Dwyer, freelance writer with a focus on travel, and founder of the Rochester Writers’ Conference, will moderate the panel.
